WTMD Radio

Unlike most student-run college radio stations, WTMD is staffed by paid DJs, program directors, and the like. This is serious radio for people who care about really good music. Or as WTMD puts it: Radio for Music People.
WTMD is the furthest thing from a typical station. Great programming. Great music. Great personalities and local presence. All the things that make National Public Radio, on the whole, so valuable and so valued. Yet WTMD, with its primarily music-based format had a problem—people either didn’t know about them or they thought the station's music was obscure, too serious, or, simply put, for “music snobs.”
Our first campaign, "AntiPop" was our public service-ish take at what thin, shallow, cookie-cutter pop music can do to perfectly normal people.
Our newest campaign featuring ears getting, ahem, "excited" is all about the music and the lasting benefits of listening.
