Wired QR Campaign


Part of M-Edge’s 2010 media campaign was focusing on the tech-savvy market of the digital literati. Our media recommendation was ad placement in WIRED magazine. Ads released. Assignment complete. Well, not really… what if we rewired WIRED?

By matching the immediate connection that QR code technology provides with the mobile tendencies of the WIRED consumer, we transformed a simple branding campaign into a new model for consumer engagement and, ultimately, revenue generation. And we let a little black and white code and the reader’s SmartPhone do all the work. Read, scan, buy. It was just that easy.
