vivabox Online Product Launch
As a global leader in food services and facilities management whose goal is to drive greater satisfaction, Sodexo had a great opportunity to expand its offerings when it purchased European company vivabox in late 2008. This particular concept of gift giving was foreign in the United States, so Sodexo needed to launch its product and educate the U.S. market on the gift that is an experience. Sodexo turned to Planit as its strategic partner to provide an online solution with supporting materials (e.g., brochures, DM, gift cards, product packaging) to introduce its product and brand.
Planit knew that the vivabox website would be the primary focus of the launch, as it would both promote and sell vivaboxes. Planit took a staged approach to the launch, which enabled Sodexo to spread the word about vivabox in the United States while taking the time needed to create a custom eCommerce solution. The robust website is everything that Sodexo needs for its online business, and Planit has also recently partnered with Sodexo to integrate its database into a nationwide sales database allowing for in-store sales of vivaboxes. A ground-breaking approach to gift cards, vivaboxes make great gifts for everyone, from a coworker to your mom or dad.
