—Brittany Barr, Jason Drumheller, and Amber Valero Join Growing Planit Team—
BALTIMORE (August 23, 2011)—Planit, a Baltimore-based communications, marketing, and interactive agency, is pleased to announce its continued growth with the addition of Brittany Barr as interactive designer, Jason Drumheller as art director, and Amber Valero as public relations account executive.

As interactive designer, Barr’s responsibilities include the design and development of websites, blogs, banner ads, and more for Planit’s clients. Prior to joining Planit, Barr was a senior designer and developer for Adventure Web Productions in Catonsville, MD, where her clients included BGE HOME, Wockenfuss Candies, and former baseball star Rick Dempsey. Barr graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Arts in art, digital art, and design and happily brings a dry wit to all she does.
In his role as art director at Planit, Drumheller will be concepting, designing, and producing visual design solutions for a wide range of identity, print, and web projects. He will also be responsible for the selection and art direction of photographers and illustrators, and on-press supervision. Whether working on a logo or an integrated branding campaign — Drumheller consistently delivers conceptual, focused solutions that distinguish his work and satisfy his clients. He joins Planit from Owings Mills–based MGH, Inc. where he served as senior art director and worked with clients that included the Baltimore Ravens; Baltimore Symphony Orchestra; Calvert School; Eddie’s of Roland Park; Maryland Film Festival; Ocean City, Maryland Department of Tourism; Texas Instruments; Towson University; University of Maryland, University College; and Utz Snack Foods. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in visual design from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
Valero brings five years of marketing and public relations experience to Planit. As public relations account executive, she enhances the team with sophistication and southern charm as she develops and implements PR campaigns to garner local and national media attention for Planit’s clients. She will also assist in social media strategies and new business initiatives. Valero comes to Planit from Nevins & Associates, a boutique marketing and public relations firm in Hunt Valley, MD, where she worked with clients that included Concentra Medical Centers, eduTrax, RS&F, Acme Paper & Supply, and the Maryland Women’s Heritage Center. She holds a Bachelor of Science in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
