Ed Callahan is Planit’s Creative Strategist. As co-founder, Ed inspires people to believe and works to identify new opportunities for business. In addition to being named the Ad Age 2011 Small Agency of the Year in the Southeast region, Ed has helped build the Baltimore agency into a nationally recognized shop for category-leading brands including Marriott International, McCormick, Under Armour, Remedi, Fila, M-Edge, Barclays, and Mally Cosmetics. Ed’s primary responsibilities include brand planning and stewarding big ideas that fuel client brand equity. He credits the success of the agency to the type of people they hire, the unending pursuit of the ultimate motivational culture, and the continued and early adoption of digital, animated, and mobile strategies. Ed grew up in the Baltimore area and also serves the local business community by giving creative and strategic support to several Baltimore pillars including The National Aquarium, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Calvert Hall High School, and The Baltimore Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
