Negotiates and places traditional media that efficiently and cost-effectively delivers on client goals.



  • Under the direction of the Media Supervisor, develops and executes effective media plans based on proven campaign strategies that stay on budget for all media vehicles
  • Collaborates with digital, creative, social media, and account teams to provide integrated media solutions
  • Maintains client relationships, while managing expectations and exceeding campaign goals
  • Fosters positive relationships with media vendors
  • Monitors and tracks campaign success and suggests optimizations as needed
  • Stays current on media trends and shares new opportunities with appropriate teams


  • Develops and maintains media flowcharts, authorizations, and production schedules on all traditional media accounts
  • Negotiates and contracts media buys, including added-value
  • Crafts well thought-out and researched POVs on client and agency opportunities
  • Works closely with account and strategy to ensure selected media tactics will reach the intended audiences
  • Organizes and maintains media contracts, historical documentation, and reports
  • Works with vendors to ensure full delivery of ordered buys
  • Manages post logs and incorporates results into client reports, as directed
  • Reviews, approves, and processes media billing monthly
  • Regularly reconciles budgets and promptly alerts account team of any issues


  • Two-three years managing traditional media buys
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Agency experience preferred
  • Broad understanding of media projects, understanding of ad specifications and vendor requirements, preparing presentations and RFPs
  • Understanding of common media research and planning tools/software
  • Able to flexibly manage complex processes in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to foster client, vendor, and
    internal relationships
  • Entrepreneurial mind with the ability to multi-task and handle multiple campaigns at a time
